Our History

The dream of the Leavenworth Adventure Park began in 2017.  The park had its Grand Opening on June 1, 2023.  Developers Dave Moffett and John Sutherland identified the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth as the perfect site for Washington State’s first Alpine Coaster. Bringing joy and fun to kids of all ages in a safe and friendly environment is the mission of the park. There are at least 13 Alpine Coasters in the European Region of Bavaria and over 300 around the world. Local architect Syndicate Smith designed the park and 8,500 square foot Guest Service Center, and local contractor Rimmer & Roeter went to work on the construction. Local Leavenworth designer Gibbs Graphics created the logo for the park, the custom-designed climbing wall, and the mural on the side of the Guest Service Center. The park contains 3 main attractions: Tumwater Twister Alpine Coaster, Alpine Ascent Climbing Wall, and Gems of The Enchantments Mining Sluice. The Bavarian Bounce Bungee Trampoline operated in the summer of 2023. The 8,500 square foot Guest Service Center includes a viewing area, party space, food, and merchandise.
