Leavenworth Adventure Park
The park’s signature Tumwater Twister Alpine Coaster is a standout winter attraction, equipped with weather shields that allow riders to enjoy the experience comfortably even in snowy conditions if needed. As you glide down the mountainside, you’ll take in views of the snow-covered Cascades and glimpses of Leavenworth’s beautifully lit-up Bavarian village below — a magical sight during the winter season.
This year, even more seasonal fun is on the way. We’ll soon be adding a new outdoor curling game in the beer garden, giving visitors a playful winter activity to enjoy between rides. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be stopping by the park for photos on December 6 and 13 from 4:30–5:30 pm, adding a festive touch for guests of all ages.
Between rides and activities, guests can stop by Ludwig’s Den on the third floor or the Base Camp café on the first floor for seasonal drinks and treats. Options include hot cocoa, hot apple cider, Pretzel Fondue, a 10-inch churro, a Giant Cookie, and handmade Apple Strudel with caramel sauce. Adults can warm up with a local draft from Dru Bru, cider or beer, a glass of wine, or a cup of hot spiced glühwein—served especially for the winter season. With cozy seating and views of the snowy hillside, it’s an inviting place to take a break before heading back out for more winter adventure.
